More information about the work Nina Röder
Nina Röder (*1983) is a German photographic artist and professor whose work is characterized by a blend of staged photography, performance, and biographical exploration. Her photography is imbued with a whimsical, often poetic atmosphere in which she deconstructs and reassembles personal and familial stories. A well-known example is her series "Mother's Shoes," in which she portrayed three generations of her family (grandmother, mother, and herself) wearing the same clothes and posing. Her work has been exhibited at prestigious festivals worldwide, including the European Month of Photography in Berlin and the Format Festival in the UK.
