London-born fashion photographer and collage artist Justine Laeufer is guided by people and the expressiveness of their faces. Far removed from fleeting trends, she seeks the unique identity revealed in clothing.
To free herself from the commercial constraints and dogmas of the fashion world, Laeufer found a new, radical medium in collage. Inspired by Dadaism, Constructivism, and London punk, she uses collage to disrupt familiar reality and transcend the boundaries of classical photography. Her work is an act of rebellion: she tests visual habits and, through deconstruction, creates her own distinctive world.

She has worked for over 20 years for leading publications such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Tatler, Citizen K, and Tank Magazine, and is known for her distinctive casting and powerful conceptual fashion photography.
Her work has been exhibited at venues including Tate Modern in London.
